Description

Civil and Infrastructure Engineering and Management (CIEM) are the foundations of our modern societies and the backbone of our cities. Challenges facing civil engineers in the new millennium require them to have a broad understanding of a wide range of issues. The CIEM program provides its students with a core foundation in civil engineering augmented with a focus on infrastructure systems and their management. The program exposes students to all lifecycle phases of civil infrastructure systems, giving them a unique perspective in comparison to other civil engineering programs in the region, that tend to focus primarily on design and construction.

CIEM has 3 tracks:

  • Transportation Systems Engineering and Management
  • Water and Wastewater Engineering and Management
  • Construction Engineering and Management
