Prerequisite: FINC 601 or consent of the instructor

The course provides the students with a critical understanding of portfolio management techniques. Students will learn how to establish appropriate investment objectives, develop optimal portfolio strategies, estimate risk-return tradeoffs and evaluate investment performance. Students considering entrepreneurial ventures will be exposed to Entrepreneurial Finance and Venture Capital. Case studies and realistic practical examples will be used to address these topics.
