This course's aim is to help the students gain a thorough understanding of investment companies' published reports with an emphasis on asset valuation and the related impact on income measurement and reporting. The course is divided into two main modules. The first module will introduce the student to intermediate financial accounting and reporting concepts. The module addresses the regulatory framework of financial reporting and the evolution of international accounting standards.
