NILES Conference 2021

On Saturday, October 23rd, the third edition of the NILES conference (the Novel Intelligent and Leading Emerging Sciences) commenced online via Zoom. NILES aims at providing a platform for researchers, engineers, academics, and industrial professionals to present their recent research work and to explore future trends in various areas of engineering and technology. This iteration will showcase keynote speeches, industrial panel sessions, funding agency panel sessions, poster sessions, and invited/special sessions. Participation in the conference will combine a variety of different role-players such as academic researchers, industry contributors, and government agencies.

NILES 2021 has four main tracks:

  • Electrical Engineering and Technology, which looks into topics such as smart agriculture, digital signal processing, the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and neural networks.
  • Communication Engineering and Technology, which delves into smart cities and smart grids, autonomous vehicles, and communications beyond 5G & 6G.
  • Industrial Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering, which specializes in sensor technologies, computational mechanics, material science, nanotechnology, and microfluidics applications.
  • Computer Science & Engineering, Informatics, and Biomedical Engineering, which explores blockchain and cryptocurrency, embedded and real-time systems, medical imaging and processing analysis, and information security and digital forensics.

The two previous iterations of NILES have resulted in resounding overall success, and key figures are expecting more of the same in this year’s run of the prestigious conference.
