Emad S. H. Bakhoum is an Associate Professor in the school of Engineering and Applied Science at Nile University. He has been a faculty member since 2019, in the Civil Engineering and Infrastructure Engineering and Management program. He has been working in the track of Construction Management since his graduation.
Emad completed his Ph.D. at University of Southampton, UK and his master’s degree and undergraduate studies at Cairo University, Egypt. His research interests lie in the area of sustainable construction including waste management, green buildings, decision analysis and automation in construction. He has collaborated actively with researchers in local projects during his work at National Research Centre.
Emad has served as the Quality Manager for engineering division at National Research Centre, Egypt. He is a member of American Concrete Institute (ACI) and Egyptian Society Engineers. He has joined as a lecturer in many universities and institutes such as Cairo University, Ain Shams University, and Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport. He has an experience in construction industry due to participation in many construction projects through his work in ORASCOM company.
