Biography

Dr. Mohib is an assistant professor at the Industrial engineering program, School of engineering and applied sciences, Nile University, Egypt. He has been an assistant professor since 2010 at the industrial engineering department in Fayoum University.

Dr. Mohib received his Ph.D. in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Windsor, Canada and his M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees from Cairo University, Faculty of Engineering, Mechanical Design and Production department. He recently spent two years in CalPoly doing research and teaching. 

He has a teaching experience in Egypt, Canada and USA that spans a period of 18 years, where he taught over 15 different courses to graduate and undergraduate students including operations research and optimization, operations management, project management, supply chain management, facilities design and management (layout), work analysis and design, lean production, statistics, statistical quality control, engineering economics, manufacturing automation and integration, engineering systems design, machine designs, product designs.

His research interests span several areas of industrial and manufacturing engineering research, generally concerned with modeling and optimization of manufacturing and service systems with different applications such as maintenance planning, inspection planning, production planning, facility design, energy optimization, quality control and supply chain management.

Dr. Mohib also has a diverse portfolio in industrial experience ranging from automotive industry to electric industry and assembly at various engineering and consultancy capacities. He helped various industries in improving their production performance and conducted various operations and project management training sessions over the last 10 years.
