Mohmaed always believed that one of his roles is participating in making the daily life of people easier because simply each structure or facility that is publicly used is designed and built by a civil engineer. His career has started shortly after completing the military duty in December 2018, where he started working as a site engineer and was involved in 3 projects under the umbrella of Greater Cairo Metro. Working in such projects not only supports his sense of belonging but also reflects the role of civil engineers in nation’s prosperity. However, his graduate studies in construction management have started immediately on graduation, simultaneously with his army duty and so far.
His approach is to keep learning, since things change on a daily basis and technology is changing the face of the world. In the past, engineers used to inspect each fault or crack in a building in order to assess its state, after the technological revolution we are witnessing nowadays, all they need to do is to program a kit, sit it in a drone and control it remotely. That’s why he insists on his current studies. Teaching is one of the things that aids his approach very well as it improves my skills regarding listening and speaking, presentation, information delivery and collaboration, time management and naturally reinforce my knowledge as students questions are always most diverse, the matter that leads to further reading and deeper knowledge.
