Biography

Eng. Yasser Mourad is currently an assistant lecturer in the Civil and Infrastructure Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Nile university. He was awarded civil engineering bachelor's degree from the Institute of Aviation Engineering and Technology (2014) and he was awarded the M.Sc. degree in structural Engineering from Cairo University (2018).  
During the period from 1/1/2016 to 1/9/2019 he was an instructor, then an assistant lecturer at the Institute of Aviation Engineering and Technology. He taught many courses including Structural Analysis I, Structural Mechanics I, Analysis and Design of Reinforced concrete Structures (II, III), Engineering Applications of Survey (Map projection) and Engineering Drawing and projection. He joined Nile university on 1/9/2019. 
Eng. Yasser practiced structural engineering through working for a consulting office as a reinforced concrete design engineer during 2015. After joining the Institute of Aviation Engineering and technology as an instructor, he worked as a part time structural designer on some reinforced concrete projects. 
 
His research experience lies in the field of Materials Engineering specifically in the assessment of the performance of Reactive Powder Concrete (RPC) reinforced by different percentages of Carbon Nanotubes.
