Eng. Hend joined Nile University in 2019 as a teaching assistant in the faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences. She graduated from the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering EL-Shorouk Institute of Higher Engineering - General assessment Very Good with Honors - Cairo, Egypt, in 2012, and received the master’s degree, with honors, in Biomedical Engineering from Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, Giza, Egypt, in 2019.

Before Nile University, she was a senior biomedical engineer at the Center for Advanced Software and Biomedical Engineering Consultations of Cairo University; a software engineer at Siemens Company in the field of Hearing Aids Instruments; and a technical support engineer at Mindray Company in the field of Ultrasound equipment.
