Alia Azzam is an instructor at Nile University in the Architecture and Urban Design Program. She completed her M.Sc. degree in sustainable development from the American University in Cairo in 2018 with a concentration in sustainable cities. Originally, she graduated from the Architectural Engineering and Technology Program at the faculty of Engineering in Cairo University in 2011.

Alia has been working as a part-time teacher assistant since her graduation, she worked at Cairo University and the American University in Cairo. Parallel to her academic path, Alia has been growing a diverse professional experience which includes practice and research.
