A DC-to-DC converter is an electronic circuit or electromechanical device that converts direct current (DC) from one voltage level to another. Power levels range from very low (small batteries) to very high (high-voltage power transmission). Fractional order systems show a more flexible performance than integer order ones. By using fractional order capacitors as a part of the DC-to-DC converter electronic circuit, more accurate performance can be obtained.
